The story behind how May-Inn became a financial planner is interesting, but also perfectly depicts her outstanding character. Twenty-four years ago, May-Inn’s husband died of a sudden heart attack, leaving her to raise their two children and to take care of her family’s financial matters on her own. She became adept at financial planning, investing, and in dealing with intricate tax matters. These skills enabled her to become financially independent by the age of 55—allowing her to embark on her financial planning career.
May-Inn’s goal as a financial planner is to help women navigate their own financial worlds to pursue their goals and to help them overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles. However, she applies this same attention to all of her clients, and she is skilled at helping people enrich their lives through proper financial planning regardless their current financial situation.
A few of May-Inn’s favorite things:
Beverage: green jasmine tea
Food: all international cuisines
Season/Holiday: Spring and fall
Color: ruby red
Sport/Exercise: tennis, hiking, swimming, jogging, skiing, and yoga
Flowers/Plants: all California native plants; in fact, she converted her yard into all native plants and is a member of the California Native Plant Society
On her bucket list:
Continue the traveling journey all over the world
