The Professional

May-Inn is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER focusing on comprehensive financial
planning including retirement planning and investment management. She is passionate
about helping people optimize their financial decisions regardless of their wealth level.
She enjoys sharing her knowledge to help clients pursue the financial goals they desire
and to live their best possible lives. She joined Pantheon Wealth Planning in Nov 25,
2019, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to complement the firm’s
endeavors.

May-Inn earned a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at the University in
New Haven in Connecticut. She also holds a bachelor's degree in social science from
National Taiwan University. She is fluent in both English and Mandarin. Her past
employment includes a position at a global company working with professionals in many
foreign countries where May-Inn forged a strong foundation in problem solving. But,
after spending 28 years in the high-tech industry, she retired in 2009 to pursue her
passion—financial and wealth planning.

May-Inn has been a member of Financial Planning Association (FPA) Silicon Valley
Charter since 2010. She has been involved in the FPA’s pro bono activity and Brown Bag
Lunch seminar program. She has delivered many educational workshops at most of the
Santa Clara County libraries (Campbell, Saratoga, San Jose, Cupertino, Sunnyvale, and
Gilroy). She taught “Modern Retirement Planning” alongside other advisors at Fremont
Adult School from 2014 to 2016. May-Inn also holds a Series 7 Security License and
Series 65 Investment Advisor License with LPL. She also has her California Life/Health
license.

The Person

The story behind how May-Inn became a financial planner is interesting, but also
perfectly depicts her outstanding character. Twenty-four years ago, May-Inn’s husband
died of a sudden heart attack, leaving her to raise their two children and to take care of
her family’s financial matters on her own. She became adept at financial planning,
investing, and in dealing with intricate tax matters. These skills enabled her to become
financially independent by the age of 55—allowing her to embark on her financial
planning career.

May-Inn’s goal as a financial planner is to help women navigate their own financial
worlds to work toward their goals and to overcome seemingly insurmountable
obstacles. However, she applies this same attention to all of her clients, and she is
skilled at helping people enrich their lives through proper financial planning regardless
their current financial situation.
