May-Inn is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ focusing on comprehensive financial planning including retirement planning and investment management. She is passionate about helping people optimize their financial decisions regardless of their wealth level. She enjoys sharing her knowledge to help clients manage the financial goals they desire and to live their best possible lives. She joined Pantheon Wealth Planning in Nov 25, 2019, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to complement the firm’s endeavors.
May-Inn earned a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at the University in New Haven on the Yale campus in Connecticut. She also holds a bachelor's degree in social science from National Taiwan University. She is fluent in both English and Mandarin. Her past employment includes a position at a global company working with professionals in many foreign countries where May-Inn forged a strong foundation in problem solving. But, after spending 28 years in the high-tech industry, she retired in 2009 to pursue her passion—financial and wealth planning. She then earned her Personal Financial Planning diploma from the University of Santa Cruz.
May-Inn has been a member of Financial Planning Association (FPA) Silicon Valley Charter since 2010. She has been involved in the FPA’s pro bono activity and Brown Bag Lunch seminar program. She has delivered many educational workshops at most of the Santa Clara County libraries (Campbell, Saratoga, San Jose, Cupertino, Sunnyvale, and Gilroy). She taught “Modern Retirement Planning” alongside other advisors at Fremont Adult School from 2014 to 2016. The story behind how May-Inn became a financial planner is interesting, but also perfectly depicts her outstanding character. Twenty-four years ago, May-Inn’s husband died of a sudden heart attack, leaving her to raise their two children and to take care of her family’s financial matters on her own. She became adept at financial planning, investing, and in dealing with intricate tax matters. These skills enabled her to become financially independent by the age of 55—allowing her to embark on her financial planning career.
May-Inn’s goal as a financial planner is to help women navigate their own financial worlds to pursue their goals and to overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles. However, she applies this same attention to all of her clients, and she is skilled at helping people enrich their lives through proper financial planning regardless their current financial situation.
